A reproducing apparatus simultaneously reproduces a first video signal and a second video signal reproduced at any timing against the first video signal. A first (second) converting section outputs the first (second) video signal having a first frame frequency alternately for three successive frames and two successive frames to convert the first (second) video signal having the first frame frequency into the video signal having a second frame frequency.
