PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk based upon the specification of a compact disk and capable of writing by restricting the depth of irregularity on the surface of a recording film within 30nm. CONSTITUTION:The depth of the irregularity on the surface of the recording film 2 is restricted within 30nm so that a tracking error signal can follow the specification of a CD. As a recording material to be used, it is preferable to use a material capable of making into transparency as holding an original form by a constant means, for example, cyanine dye and squalene dye, etc., are suitable. Thus, by permitting the irregularity of constant limit on the surface, it is possible to generate a film easily even by an ordinary rotational coating method if a coating condition can be optimized, and the (l1-l2)/ltop of a tracking error signal can be set at <=0.07 by employing constitution in which the irregularity is restricted. In such a way, it is possible to obtain the optical disk in which the tracking error signal is fitted for the specification of the CD. |
