FUEL SUPPLY DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To suppress occurrence of vapor lock at the time of warm restarting by inserting a fuel injection valve in a fuel supply passage near the intake manifold through a holder, and arranging an air supply passage in communication with the jet of fuel injection valve. CONSTITUTION:A fuel supply passage 11 is installed near an intake manifold 10, and a holder 12 is formed on the way of the fuel supply passage 11. A fuel injection valve 13 is inserted in the major dia. part 12a of the holder 12, and the fuel passage 13a in the fuel injection valve 13 is put in communication with the fuel supply passage 11 through a fuel inlet 13b and a fuel outlet 13c. A nozzle member 16 having a nozzle hole 16a mating with the jet 13e of the fuel injection valve 13 is inserted in the minor dia. part 12b of the holder 12. The minor dia. part 12b is penetrated, and an air supply passage 19 in communication with the gap 12c and an air exhaust passage 20 are furnished. Thereby vapor lock is suppressed at the time of warm restart of internal combustion engine.
