PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of print start position by attaching a simply mountable device to the gage and side frame of a printer. CONSTITUTION:A device 18 for determining a print start position includes a carrier mount 21 and gages 19 and 20, and is mounted on the carrier 11 of a printer. The gages 19 and 20 are aligned with the left-side frame 15 so that the carrier 11 can be moved laterally along front and rear shafts 12 and 13 by a spacing belt 14. In this manner, a print start position is checked by a bail shaft 16. |
