According to an embodiment of the present invention, the indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: an indoor heat exchanger placed inside the indoor unit, where refrigerant, which exchanges heat with indoor air, flows; an indoor fan placed on one side of the indoor heat exchanger to take in indoor air and let it pass through the indoor heat exchanger; an indoor expanding valve connected to the indoor heat exchanger; and a distributing unit to let a plurality of branch pipes, which are connected to refrigerant pipes making a plurality of paths formed on the indoor heat exchanger, be collected and connected to the indoor expanding valve. One of the plurality of branch pipes is formed on the bottom end of one or more paths from the plurality of paths. The present invention is to provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner, which improves the flow of liquid refrigerant at the bottom of an indoor heat exchanger and to reduce noise caused by the refrigerant passing through an electronic expanding valve. |
