PURPOSE: To couple or decouple with less force by receiving resilient polymeric members in grooves on a first member having a neck and supporting a second member having a central bore therethrough by the neck. CONSTITUTION: A fluid connector assembly 10 includes a first member 12 which is to be coupled with a second member 14. A conduit 16 is coupled with the second member 14. The first member 12 comprises a body 18 and a neck 20 extending integrally with the body. The neck 20 is cylinder-shaped, and has a plurality of grooves 22, 24, 26 on its outer periphery. Resilient polymeric sealing members 28 and 29 are received in grooves 22, 24. When these sealing members are coupled together with members 12 and 14, the second member 14 is sealed with the first member 12.
