<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the effective inputs of characters and symbols as well as their display positions by transforming the characters ad symbols into those corresponding to input voices and at the same time designating the optional positions of a display screen for display of those characters and symbols. CONSTITUTION:The characters and the symbols like periods, etc., which are supplied in voices through a microphone 11 are transformed into the corresponding character and symbol codes via a transforming part 12 and stored in a buffer memory 13. The picture element code data is produced based on the contents of the memory 13 via a CPV 14 and by reference to a character generator memory 19. Then said code data is stored in a video memory 16 and displayed on a display 18 via a display control part 17. When an optional position of the display 18 is designated by a light pen 21, an address check part 20 sets the picture element set at the position closest to the point designated by the pen 21 as the display head position based on the information on the designated position and the control information received from the part 17. Thus it is possible to perform the effective inputs of characters and symbols as well as their display positions with no operation of a keyboard carried out by both hands.</p> |
