The rotor (30) has a set of flanges (55, 56) that is utilized for supporting a stack (36) of sheets. Each flange is provided with a wall (59). The wall is provided with a radial opening to allow passage of a main shaft (35). An annular edge (75) extends over an entire outer periphery of the wall. The annular edge presents a face that rest against faces of an external radial end of the stack of sheets. An orifice is placed in the wall for providing a radial flow of air inside the rotor between two protruding poles.
