The method is for aerating liquid animal manure without removing nitrogen or ammonia. The manure (J) is stored in a pit (G) up to a level (N). A quantity of manure is drawn out of the pit (G) and mixed with air under pressure. The mixture of air and manure is then returned to the pit by a second pump which is connected to a nozzle (35) mounted below the manure surface (N). This process results in a better mixture of air and manure and increases the length of time before the mixture decomposes. USE - Agriculture.
