PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compsn. giving a hardened body having superior strength and not causing the transition of hydrate over a long period by blending alumina cement with a prescribed amt. of the chloride of an alkaline earth metal and further adding a prescribed amt. of the carbonate of an alkaline earth metal as required. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. alumina cement (A) is blended with 5-50pts.wt. chloride (B) of an alkaline earth metal having <=250mum particle size, e.g., CaCl2, MgCl2, BaCl2 or hydrate thereof, and 5-30pts.wt. carbonate (C) of an alkaline earth metal having <=250mum particle size, e.g., CaCO3, MgCO3, BaCO3 or hydrate thereof is further added to the resulting blend as required. |
