PURPOSE: To improve the reliability by adding a function of storing data of the amount on hand to a cash cassette of the money transaction machine so as to allow data of the amount on hand to be handled integrally with the cash cassette. CONSTITUTION: Prior to containing paper moneys to a cash cassette B, data of number of paper moneys and monetary amount obtained by actually counting the paper moneys are entered from an operation section 54 and the data are stored in a RAM 52 as the amount on hand. The amounts on hand of all cassettes are stored in a RAM 32 of the main body 52. Every time paper moneys are received and paid out from a money receiving cassette 4, a CPU 30 executes addition/subtraction the amount on hand data before the receiving and paying and the receiving and paying monetary amount and the amount on hand obtained as the result of addition/subtraction is written in the RAM 32 of the main body A, the amount is fed from a transaction data output section 36 to a transaction data input section 55 of the cash cassette B to rewrites the amount on hand data in the RAM 52 into corrected data so as to make the actual amount on hand in matching with the content of the RAM 52. |
