PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of a photographic emulsion contd. in the title material by incorporating a photosensitive particle composed of a silver salt particle capable of forming a latent image and forming the sensitizing dye host crystal consisting of >=2 kinds of the sensitizing dyes. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive photographic emulsion contains the photosensitive particle composed of the sensitizing dye host crystal and the silver salt particle capable of forming the latent image having a conductive contact with said host crystal. Said host crystal is composed of >=2 kinds of the sensitizing dyes. The sensitizing dye is exemplified by a cyanine dye, a merocyanaine dye and a composite merocyanine dye, etc. And, the mixed mol. ratio of each sensitizing dyes is a range of >=1/1,000 based on the total of said dyes. Thus, the photographic emulsion with improved sensitivity can be obtd. |
