PURPOSE: To enhance images and picture quality by providing light application means, conical mirrors, image forming means, photoelectric conversion means, data processing means, and probe position detection means to a probe which is raised and lowered and moved within a hole in order to continuously photograph the wall of the hole. CONSTITUTION: An image pickup device and a hole curve measuring device are stored respectively above and below a probe 14 and light of a light source 13 is applied to a hole wall, with the reflected light taken into a scanning part 1. The slit 6 of a shield plate 7 is divided into two of upper and lower parts and conical mirrors 4, 5 respectively for illumination and for light collection are mounted. Image formation means provided in front of them provide concentric images in the form of a doughnut consisting of a number of photoelectric conversion elements. Their signals are scanned and taken out and the direction and position of the probe 14 are detected by a wall surface image data generating and processing device 17. Therefore, the wall surface images can be sampled at high speed and observation time can be reduced. |
