PURPOSE:To advance separativeness of paper in a photosensitive body separating part by attaching toner of the same color as that of the paper to the photosensitive body which corresponds to the tip of the paper feeding side if the paper separativeness is poor. CONSTITUTION:Only when there is a coincidence in color between the paper and the toner both of which are identified by paper color identifying means 4a-6a and toner color identifying means 32 and 33, the developing devices 4-6 are selectively and optionally driven by judgement of a user, and the toner of the same color as that of the paper is attached to the photosensitive body 1 corresponding to the specified area of the tip of the paper feeding side of the paper. The separativeness of the tip from the photosensitive body is advanced. With respect to the unspecified area, a developing device having the toner of the color which is selected for image formation is driven to attach the toner. Thereby when the toner is attached to the tip of the paper, the separativeness of the paper in the photosensitive body separating part is advanced and the occurrence of paper jam can be prevented. |
