摘要 PURPOSE:To perform the quick charge by attenuating the charge current to 0.5-0.9 times when the charge voltage reaches the sum of the fixed value and a value obtained by multiplying the charge current by the fixed value and completing the charge or beginning the charge with a minor current within 30min from the start of the attenuation. CONSTITUTION:When the charge voltage VS reaches the sum of the fixed voltage VO and A times of the charge current I, i.e., VS=VO+AI to charge a sealed lead storage battery, the attenuation constant A is changed to 0.5-0.6, and the charge is completed within 30min after the charge current I is first attenuated. The charge current density of a positive electrode is reduced according to this constitution, the charge can be performed while the O2 generation is suppressed, the H2 generation is suppressed by the reduction of the current density of a negative electrode, which easily absorbs the O2 generated by the positive electrode, the negative electrode absorbing cycle performing the charge while deoxidizing the generated lead sulfate is activated, and the quick charge is performed while the gas generation in the terminal stage of the charge is suppressed and the charged electricity quantity is sufficiently secured.
