<p>A collapsible boom lift comprised of upper and lower telescoping boom assemblies (18, 70). The upper boom (70) is pivotally connected to an upright support member (52) which is pivotally connected at its lower end to the lower boom (18). The upright support member (52) is maintained plumb during raising and lowering of the lower boom (18), and an operator's platform (100), carried at the end of the upper boom (70), is maintained level during raising and lowering the upper boom (18). The upright support member (52) is always positioned within the perimeter of the chassis (10) of the boom lift.</p> |
