PURPOSE:To attach a deck to a stationary offshore platform without the use of a crane ship by a method in which a strut is projected from a floating body consisting of a deck and a lower hull to give a buoyancy, and the strut is coupled with a coupler at the upper end of a jacket. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of a strut 8 is projected toward below a lower hull 5 by easing the grasping force of a strut 8 set on a deck 3 and engaged with the engaging part 1A of a jacket 1. Since a floating body 7 floats by itself by buoyancy, the need to use a crane ship is eliminated. By placing cement mortar into the strut engaging part 1A of the jacket 1 from the deck 3, the engaging part 1A and the strut 8 can be fixed, or the strut 8 and the deck 3 can be fixed by welding. |
