<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a loading device for a handy VTR while being further miniaturized by making a reel chassis closer to a head cylinder than the case at the play mode when no cassette is loaded. CONSTITUTION:A reel chassis 4 is projected from a main chassis 1 and at a halt in the 1st stop position S1 in the standby mode. When a cassette 9 is loaded to the reel chassis 4, the reel chassis is stopped at the 2nd halt position S2 to attain recording or reproduction. The reel chassis 4 is forwarded further and in the half at the 3rd stop position S3 in the idle state where no cassette 9 is loaded to the reel chassis 4. Thus, the minimum depth of the loading device is decreased without a limit of the depth of the cassette. When the minimum depth of the loading device is decreased, the minimum depth of the VTR is decreased to offer the portable application.</p> |
