PURPOSE:To reduce the magnetic resistance and to eliminate the characteristic variance of a magnetic head, by unifying a chip part with a body part for a core and rounding the corner by an etching process for the area where a coil is directly wound. CONSTITUTION:Cores 11 and 12 are made of ferrite magnetic material containing a chip part having active gaps 13 and 14 and a body part wound by coils 15 and 16 which are unified to each other. A shielding plate 17 of the chip part and a shielding plate 18 of the body part are joined together by a convertional process. A holder 19 is made of a nonmagnetic material like glass, etc. and adhered with cores 11 and 12 as well as the plate 17 to hold these parts. Then coils 15 and 16 are wound directly to the cores 11 and 12 by a conventional troidal winding machine. The corner parts of the cores 11 and 12 are rounded before winding of coils 15 and 16 by an etching process at least at the areas where these coils are wound. |
