COLUMN PACKED WITH GEL FILTER BODY AT HIGH DENSITY

摘要

PURPOSE:To decrease the void in a column so that no void are formed in the upper part of the column by packing gel filter bodies into the column at such a high density at which the gel filter bodies bulge from the packed part. CONSTITUTION:The gel filter bodies are packed into the upper part of the packed column at such a high density at which the ensuing packed component bulges from the packed part when a member for assuring the gel filter bodies in the upper part of the column is removed. The degree of the bulging of the gel filter bodies is perfect if said bodies are so packed in the column that the part corresponding to the void generated heretofore by the long-period operation bulges. The packing to the extent of allowing the filter bodies to bulge by about 1cm sufficies usually. The void in the column is thereby diminished and the generation of the void in the upper part of the column is obviated.
