PURPOSE:To improve the workability of manufacturing an insulated coil by inserting a prepreg insulating material between rows of insulated wire hundle, heating and pressing integrally into a coil conductor, covering a prepreg insulating layer, a mica layer and a protective layer, and impregnating it with thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg insulating material 6 is inserted between rows of insulated wire hundle 1a, heated, pressed and cured to form an integrated coil conductor 11. The material 6 has heat resistance like a glass cloth, polyester clotch or the like, treated with thermosetting resin on the high strength insulating substrate and finished in semicured state. Resin 6a which is extended from the material 6 does not reach the surface of the conductor 11. A prepreg insulating layer 7 is coated on the outer periphery of the conductor 11 except both ends, a mica layer 2a and a protective tape layer 2b are wound thereon, thermosetting resin is pressured and immersed in vacuum, heated, pressed and cured to form an insulated coil. In this manner, the immersing work can be accelerated to improve the workability, thereby obtaining a coil which has excellent insulating property. |
