The invention relates to a tractive force control system, comprising a control piston, which is guided in a control cylinder arranged between a throttle lever and an accelerator pedal, a first bowden cable, which is connected at the one end to the control piston and at the other end to the throttle lever, a second bowden cable, which is connected at the one end to the control piston and at the other end to the accelerator pedal, fixed cable sheaves for guiding the second bowden cable, a mobile cable sheave, which is preloaded by a compensating spring so as to tension or tighten the second bowden cable, and a pressure control device for the delivery of a pressure medium (fluid pressure) to a control chamber of the control cylinder, in order thereby to displace the control piston in a direction in which the first bowden cable is relaxed, so that the throttle lever can return.
