<p>PURPOSE: To easily constitute a picture from a plurality of picture memories by regarding a plurality of picture memories as one large picture memory and setting a display area having a display picture size in this large picture memory to display it on a display device. CONSTITUTION: Display data is written in a picture memory 19 through a bus 24 in accordance with the address instruction of a display address control circuit ADCNT 23. The address instruction of a display control circuit CRTC 20 is transmitted to the picture memory 19 through a control circuit 23 and is outputted to a display device 28 through a character generator 26 and a conversion circuit 27. Meanwhile, when a display area is designated to the display address control circuit 23, the address of the display area instructed from the display control circuit 20 is calculated to designate an address of the picture memory 19, and its address data is read out. Thus, display data is read out from plural picture memories to easily constitute a picture.</p> |
