PURPOSE:To shorten a time to attain a first image forming process by making a rotating means for rotating a rotation mirror confirm other functions in a rising time from starting to stably rotating when initial action at the time of starting image forming actions is confirmed. CONSTITUTION:In case of the entry of the instruction of starting printing, a control circuit 61 judges about the checking of a ready state and the starting of a mirror motor 51 begins with the aid of a driving circuit 64. The control circuit 61 performs the starting of a main motor 63 and the check of it, the transfer of paper and the check of paper jamming and turning a laser on and the check of the laser output until the mirror motor 51 stably rotates. Thereafter, it is checked whether the rotation of the mirror motor 51 is normal or not and then it is checked whether a horizontal synchronizing signal is normally outputted. By performing the checks until the stable rotation is obtained, the time to attain actual printing can be shortened. |
