<p>PURPOSE: To easily straighten a bridge on a bow instrument by providing a plane plate which can be brought into contact with one face of the bridge, backplates which can be brought into contact with the other face of the bridge, and a connection part which connects the plane plate and the backplates so as to press-contact the bridge between the plane plate and the backplates. CONSTITUTION: A plane plate 24 is brought into contact with one face of a bridge 21, and backplates 26 and 27 are brought into contact with the other face, and the bridge 21 is press-contacted and held between the plane plate 24 and backplates 26 and 27, and in this state, the plane plate 24 and backplates 26 and 27 are connected and fixed by a retainer 29 and ring parts 31 and 32. Since the bridge 21 has the lower part and the upper part pressed to the smooth surface of the plane prate 24 with two backplates 26 and 27 as fulcrums and is held, bend of the upper part of the bridge 21 is prevented against the tensile force of pulling of strings to the peg side, and the bridge is strengthened. Since this strengthening tool 23 is as large as the bridge 21 and is used with the bridge up, the bridge is strengthened as it is when the violin is stored in a case, and the tool is very easily handled and doesn't trouble a user.</p> |
