PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of the air conditioner and realize high efficiency thereof by forming indoor and outdoor heat exchangers from the front and back surface upper parts respectively in semicircular shape, setting an indoor ventilation route from the semicircular outer periphery of the indoor heat exchanger to the front surface thereof, and setting an outdoor ventilation route from the semicircular outer periphery of the outdoor heat exchanger to the back front surface. CONSTITUTION:After indoor air passes through the interior from the outer periphery of an indoor heat exchanger 17 by an indoor propeller fan 15 from indoor suction ports 22 provided at the left and right parts from the front surface of a main air conditioner body 12, indoor air is supplied from a discharge port 23 to the front surface of the main body. Since the air flow passing through the indoor heat exchanger flows without being disturbed by the suction operation, the noise is reduced, the suction area can be widened and the heat exchanger performance can be improved. On the outdoor side, outdoor air passes the inner side of an outdoor heat exchanger 18 from the outer peripheral part thereof, and thereafter outdoor air is discharged out of a discharge port 25 on the rear surface of the main body through a discharge port 25 to the rear surface of the main body. Since air is sucked from the left and right upper sides of the rear surface, the noise is reduced, and the ventilation resistance on the inner and outer sides is small and the input of a motor 16 can be reduced. |
