The present invention relates to a writing implement comprising a body consisting of a number of articulated parts. The writing implement 10 comprises four parts 11, 12, 13 and 14 articulated to each other. The part 11 is articulated to the part 12 by means of a pivot axis 20 which connects two adjacent sides of these two parts. Each part is in the shape of a rectangular isosceles triangle. The pivot axes allow each part to be rotated through 180 DEG with respect to its neighbouring part. The writing implement can be used as a writing implement in its elongated form and as a key holder, identification card or promotional device when folded square. <IMAGE>
