Fibre can with metal ends - has sealing compound on turned- over lip and with profiled edge ends

The fibre tube is wound from a spiral construction and has its ends turned over to form attachment lips for the metal ends. The inside of each lip is coated with a sealing compound which sticks to the inside of the metal end. The metal ends have shaped lips which fit over the tube lips and which are sealed via the sealing compound. The sealing compound also covers the end seam of the spiral. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple seal, low cost package.
