PURPOSE: To make it possible to not only prevent forgery or falsification of an information recording card but also easily identify whether the card is true or false by forming an infrared reflecting layer comprising a nonmagnetic metal layer on a magnetic recording layer and making an infrared absorbing pattern and a shield layer on the infrared reflecting layer. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic recording layer 2 is formed on the surface of a card base board 1 comprising a part of a prepaid card. A shield layer 6 to make infrared transmissive and the infrared absorbing pattern 4 invisible is formed on an infrared reflecting layer 3 on which the infrared absorbing pattern 4 is made. Further, a transparent protective layer 7 is formed on the shield layer 6. The infrared reflecting layer 3 is formed by coating VM-anchored coating agent 31 on the magnetic recording layer 2 and evaporating a nonmagnetic metal layer 32 thereon. However, the nonmagnetic metal layer may be formed on the magnetic recording layer 2 by a transfer method. Aluminum is used as nonmagnetic metal, but other nonmagnetic metals such as chromium, etc., may be used. |
