The invention relates to an injection adaptor for syringe, in particular of the single-use type for the field of dentistry, comprising an injection needle 3, a base 2 provided with means for removably fastening it to a syringe body, and carrying the needle 3, and a protective case 9 which accommodates the said base and needle. According to the invention, the protective case 9 has an inner diameter which is adapted to allow it to slide along the syringe body. Furthermore this case 9 and the base 2 are shaped so as to allow longitudinal sliding of the said case with respect to the base, during which the base remains trapped inside the case. This sliding is furthermore limited by stop means which are adapted to allow the case 9 to slide between a rear position, in which it frees the active part of the needle 3, and a front position, where it completely covers the needle 3 and the base 2. <IMAGE>
