PURPOSE:To prevent easily the sticking of cutting slag on a steel material, by coating a specific mold release agent on the bottom surface of the part intended to be cut before cutting the steel material with a burner. CONSTITUTION:A mold release agent which consists essentially of powder having laminar crystalline structure (>=1 kinds among graphite, molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide, lead monoxide, fluorinated graphite, mica, etc.) and contains water, >=1 kinds mineral oils, as well as an inorg. or org. binder are prepared. The mold release agent is coated on the bottom surface of the steel material in the part intended to be cut. Such steel material is cut with a burner. The sticking of the cutting slag on the steel material is prevented by the above- mentioned method. |
