PURPOSE:To easily obtain a superconducting coil by a method wherein the coil is formed by applying the powder paste of superconducting ceramic, having the prescribed composition, by printing, coating and sintering on the ceramic substrate having the prescribed composition. CONSTITUTION:Paste A is formed using a superconducting ceramic material having the critical temperature, at which it is changed to a superconducting state, higher than the boiling point of liquid nitrogen. The paste A is coated by printing on a substrate 1, it is sintered and a thick film-like superconducting coil 2 is formed. At that time, Ce2MCuO5 is used as the substrate 1, and superconducting ceramic, having the composition of LnM2Cu3O7-k, is used as the paste A, provided that Ln contains at least a kind of rare-earth elements La, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy end Ho, M contains at least a kind of Ba, Sr and Ga, and k is used in the form of 0< k<1. As a result, the superconducting coil 2 can be obtained easily. |
