PURPOSE:To make it possible to save the time necessary to change color by carrying out the color change in an external process and to reduce the transient unnecessary covering material during the color change, by selecting the extruding machine by a switching valve and leading the covering material of the unselected extruding machine to an overflow way. CONSTITUTION:When an extruding machine 61 is selected by a switching valve 4, a covering material of the responding color is fed to a crosshead 2, and a conductor 1 is covered with the covering material to make a cable 3. In this case, an extruding machine 62 which is not selected is connected to an overflow way 63a and the covering material of the color responding to the extruding machine 62 is led to the flow way 63a. In such a composition, the time necessary to change color is save because it can be carried out in an external process, the productivity is improved, the transient unnecessary covering material during the color change is reduced, and the yield rate of the production is improved. |
