PURPOSE:To preclude a transfer defect and a fixation defect due to misoperation and forgetful default of operation by providing a means which sets a transfer charger output and a fixing speed to values for a transparent form when a contact form sensor and a photosensor detect the form. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is so constituted that a form is supplied from one of three paper feed cassettes 41-43 according to the specification of a console panel. In the middle of the paper feeding, the microswitch 71 and photosensor 72 detect the form and its on-off state is inputted to a CPU. The CPU judges that the form is an OHP form when only the microswitch 71 is on, and sets an OHP mode stored in a memory. In this set mode, the control part of a transfer charger 23 and the driving control part of a heat roller 9 are controlled. When a toner image is transferred to the form, the transfer charger output is set according to the kind of the form, so there is no transfer defect caused. |
