<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized light-weight voltage-regulating transformer by arranging a core and a winding in the same plane while a magnetic circuit is mounted to a main flux loop path through an air gap. CONSTITUTION:The end sections 14b, 14c of a magnetic shunt core 14 are arranged onto outer-legs 28, 30 for a first wound core 12, holding interposing articles 36, 38 in thickness corresponding to a fixed air gap between a coil block for a first series winding 18 and a coil block for a second series winding 20, and fixed to the outer-legs 28, 30 by fixtures 40, 42, and each core is unified. The magnetic shunt core 14 shunts one part of the magnetic flux of a main flux loop path to the outer-legs 28, 30 through a gap displaying high reluctance and adjusts output voltage while damping a higher harmonic, and reduces the waveform distortion of output voltage.</p> |
