PURPOSE:To remove loss of paper and, besides, to shorten operation time, by a method wherein top and bottom registration of both plate cylinders is performed with a top and bottom registration motor and then, a circumferential length of a numerical value content of not more than a decimal point of a value by dividing a paper path difference, which is a difference between a phase difference length and a paper path length, by a circumferential length of each cylinder, is corrected via a differential mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When respective reference positions of respective potentiometers 14a, 14b are sheared, their correction signals are inputted to top and bottom registration motors 13a, 13b, which are rotated. Plate cylinders 5a, 5b are returned to the origin, and top and bottom registration of the top and bottom plate cylinders 5a, 5b is ended. Differences L'1, L'2, L'3 between paper paths L1, L2, L3 from a lateral machine processing position to printing reference positions of respective plate cylinders and phase difference lengths l1, l2, l3 of the printing reference positions are outputted. A driving apparatus 25 is driven via each driver 25 by a rotation amount of a distance content of multiplying a value B'1, B'2, B'3 of first decimal place and under of driving those differences by each plate cylinder length A by the plate cylinder length A. By driving a differential mechanism 7 of each plate cylinder, a phase difference of each plate cylinder to a lateral machine is corrected. |
