PURPOSE:To obviate the diffusion through the wall surface of a flexible hollow tubular body and the boundary face between the tubular body and a window material by using an oily material having >=200 average mol.wt. as a liquid light transmission medium. CONSTITUTION:The oily material having >=200 average mol.wt. is used as a core 2 which is the liquid light transmission medium. Polyols such as polyethylene oxide, polypropylene oxide and glycerols, hydrocarbons or respective derivatives basically consisting thereof, etc., which have the refractive indices higher than the refractive index of the flexible hollow tubular body 1 are used as the material of the core 2. The diffusibility of the light transmission hose is thereby prevented, and the generation of a space in the flexible hollow tubular body is eliminated, by which the degradation in the light transmission efficiency is obviated. |
