PURPOSE:To expose an original picture onto a photosensitive material without deteriorating resolution by applying raster scanning to a picture signal read from a picture memory for each field and shifting a horizontal scanning line to be displayed as a picture vertically thereby applying multiple exposure. CONSTITUTION:The arrangement of the picture is thinned and read in the first field from picture memories 1-4 and the picture obtained by raster scanning is exposed on the photosensitive member and it is kept as it is, and the arrangement of the preceding picture element is obtained by thinning from the picture memories 1-4 and the picture obtained by raster operation with shifting to the preceding position is exposed on the photosensitive member. In this case, in a 1st field, the voltage level of a delay control signal S to be controlled for the delay control circuit 13 is selected as VL so as not to retard a vertical synchronizing pulse SV. Thus, the signal S is selected as VH in a 2nd field to retard the pulse SV by a prescribed time. |
