PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity and repeating characteristics by providing a photosensitive layer contg. a specific disazo compd. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer contg. the disazo compd. which is expressed by the formula and exhibits peaks at about 10.0 deg., about 14.2 deg. and about 26.5 deg. as diffraction angles (2theta) in X-ray diffraction is provided. The disazo compd. which exhibits the characteristic peaks in this X-ray diffraction and has preferably <=0.5mum grain size is used as a charge generating material. The photosensitive body having the high sensitivity in both the positive and negative charges and the excellent repeating characteristics is thereby obtd. |
