摘要 PURPOSE:To measure distances in a plurality of directions within a short time and to obtain the measured distance value in a certain set direction as independent data, by performing the projection of light two times, that is, the projection of light to the central part of the field corresponding to a picture to be photographed and the projection of light to the peripheral part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus consists of an element 11 projecting light 5 to the central part 3 of the field 2 corresponding to a picture to be photographed, elements 10, 12 simultaneously projecting lights 6, 7 to a plurality of the places 4a, 4b of the periphery of said central part 3 and a light projection change-over means 13 for changing over the driving of the element 11 and that of the elements 10, 11. A light receiving means 9 receives the light 5' from the element 11 or the lights 6', 7' from the elements 10, 12 and an operation means 16 operates each of the measured distance values on the basis of the output from the means 9 by each of the reflected lights. By this method, since the projection of light to the central part 3 of the field 2 corresponding to the picture to be photographed and that of light to the peripheral parts 4a, 4b of said central part 3 are performed two times and the measured distance value of the central part and the average measured distance value of the peripheral parts are calculated using the common means 16, a plurality of operation means are made unnecessary and a distance can be measured within a relatively short time and the measured distance value of the central part can be obtained as independent data.
