<p>The invention relates to a device in spacers (1), intended for mounting between the edge part of a sealed insulation glass unit (9) and a surrounding frame (10). The spacer (1) comprises an elongate strip-like body, the width of which is in substantial agreement with the width of the unit (9). In a direction at right angles to the upper or lower side of the spacer, at least one long side (7) of the spacer has at least one retaining tongue (8) which in the longitudinal direction of the spacer (1) has optional width, but a thickness which decreases in a direction towards its free end to terminate in a knife-like configuration for enabling fixing a glazing strip (11) before fitting a sealing strip (13) which can be thrust between the glazing strip and unit (9), while the lower part (14) of the tongue (8) has the ability, with its predetermined thickness, to provide spaced relationship between the position of the glazing strip (11) and unit (9), or between the unit (9) and the surrounding frame (10).</p> |
