A covering screen comprising a netting can be hung in a door opening in order to protect against flies, mosquitos and the like. In order that the covering screen can be adapted extremely easily to varying door widths, it exhibits two mutually parallel edge reinforcements in the region of at least one of its vertical longitudinal borders. The edge reinforcements run at a predetermined distance, which is kept at unit spacings, and can be separated off individually in order to give the covering screen a predetermined width.
