A novel type of wavelength-muldex arrangement in an integrated construction is described, which consists essentially of the integrable elements of optical transmitter (3), blocking filter (5) and detector (4), which are integrated one after another onto a strip-shaped waveguide (2) on a substrate (1). The blocking filter (5) consists of an absorbing layer (51), which screens off the detector (4) against the light radiated by the transmitter (3) but, on the other hand, allows the light which is to be detected and has a wavelength ( lambda 2), which differs from the wavelength ( lambda 1) of the light from the transmitter (3), to pass largely uninfluenced to the detector (4). A diode (6) can be integrated into the absorbing layer (51), which diode (6) can serve as a monitor diode for the light radiated by the transmitter. <IMAGE> |
