PURPOSE:To provide a tightening wiring, wherein the deformation of the wiring is prevented through utilization of its self heat emission, by equipping a shape memory alloy with a compressive prestrain at a temp. below the reverse transfer finishing point, putting this shape memory alloy in close contact with a composite wire material containing a superconductive wire and a matrix material, and thereby forming a composite material. CONSTITUTION:In a superconductive composite wire 1, a number of superconductive wires 5 are embedded in matrix 4, which is covered tightly with a covering tube 6. This tube 6 is made of a shape memory alloy and given in the concentrical and radial directions a compressive prestrain in a magnitude of several % to 10% at a temp. below the reverse transfer finishing point of the shape memory alloy. This superconductive composite wire 1 is inserted in a groove 3 of a cylindrical piece 2 to form a field coil and receives a complex loading of centrifugal force, temp. difference, load change, etc., under an extra-low temp. to form a deformation such as elongation. Also such phenomena are generated as slip between the winding and the cylindrical piece 2 and heat emission locally at the winding, and the covering tube 6 suppresses elongation of the matrix 4 and superconductive wires 5 by its own shape memory property.
