The conventional condoms as a rule consist of thin rubber that is smooth on the inside and outside. It is used for purposes of family planning and prevention of transmission of disease. The condom surface is frequently provided with an oily lubricating ointment to facilitate insertion into the vagina. The design which is conventional at present has the following disadvantages: the penis rarely sits firmly in the smooth rubber sheath of the condom without slipping. After relaxation of the penis and withdrawal out of the vagina it is possible that the condom remains stuck in the vagina and the fluid, secretion and the like remaining in it is taken up by the female body. The invention eliminates these disadvantages by the design shown in the description, the drawings and in seven patent claims which is aimed at preventing the possibility of slipping and sliding inside the condoms. This is achieved in that the condom is provided with annular protuberances, for example at the level of the glans in front of the corona, or that these are already formed during production of the condom. The intended effect, that is, firm holding of the penis by its skin on the inner rubber skin of the condom, can also be achieved by a vacuum in the ring, the condom or an annular bead <IMAGE>
