PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound having improved adhesivity to melamine acrylic polymers or melamine alkyd polymers, excellent hardness and solvent resistance of cured coating film, comprising a specific silyl group-containing vinyl polymer, silane compound and a curing catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. silyl group- containing vinyl polymer which has a main chain consisting of a vinyl polymer chain and contains one or more silicon atoms. bonded to hydrolyzable groups at the end or the side chain in 1mol., (B) 0.1-100pts.wt. silane compound shown by formula I-formula VI (R<1> is 1-10C alkyl or aralkyl; X is halogen or hydroxy; R<2> is 8-200C alkyl or aryl; R<3> is 8-200C monofunctional alkyl or aryl; n is 0, 1 or 2) and (C) 0-20pts.wt. curing catalyst preferably consisting of an (acidic) phosphoric acid (ester) shown by formula VII (R<4> is 1-20C alkyl; n' is 1-3). |
