PURPOSE:To improve the operability and maintenance of a system by detecting the position of a connector to connect a CPU and setting automatically the priority of a bus right even when to which connector and adapter connected to the bus is connected. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the initial setting, a CPU 1 detects successively to which connector position on a CPU bus 3 respective adapters 5 and 7 are connected. By the action, the CPU 1 determines the CPU bus right priority of respective adapters 5 and 7 and stores it into a storing part. The output of the storing part is sent to a logical part (arbiter)2 having a function to give the bus right from the adapter having a higher priority and the conditions of the priority decision are formed. Thus, the arbiter 2 can be realized in which the priority is made variable and the using efficiency of the bus can be always made optimum. Since the CPU 1 can discriminate a connector number and adapter information, any adapter my be connected to respective connectors and the erroneous connection of the adapter is not executed. |
