PURPOSE:To ease exhaust of inside gas of a lamp after annularly forming the lamp by projecting respective exhaust tubes from both ends of the lamp body and closing one of the exhaust tubes and enabling the exhaust tube to be separated at a portion of a cut line which is marked on the outer periphery of a portion of the lamp body side from the closed portion. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust tubes 3 and 4 are projected from both ends of a body 2 and the tip 5 of an exhaust tube 4 is closed to be blinded and a cut line 6 is formed on the outer periphery in the vicinity of the tip through the whole circumference. When a lamp 1 is annularly bent, nitrogen gas is filled into the body from the exhaust tube 3 so as to make a fixed pressure after heating and softening the lamp and the lamp is moved to the direction of an arrow Y to be annularly formed, rotating the forming drum d to the direction of an arrow X. Subsequently, the exhaust tube 4 is cut and opened along the cut line 6 immediately before feeding the lamp into the exhaust and the tip off processes of the next process. Accordingly, the nitrogen gas filled in the body 2 is simultaneously exhausted through the two exhaust tubes 3 and 4. |
