PURPOSE:To prevent the pulverization or dropping of a quality identification lithium-aluminum alloy even when charges and discharges are repeated by using aluminum indicated by symbols H23, H24, H25, H26 or an aluminum alloy and a lithium alloy for a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum indicated by symbols H23, H24, H25, H26 or an aluminum alloy and a lithium alloy are used for a negative electrode. The aluminum of the lithium alloy is applied with the hardening process indicated by symbols H23, H24, H25, H26 then applied with the low-temperature annealing as appropriate. The internal stress is sharply reduced as compared with the aluminum applied with no annealing at all (symbol H18) or the aluminum slightly annealed (symbol H27, H28). Cracks can be thereby prevented from being made larger or increased in number even if charges and discharges are repeated. On the other band, crystal grains are made small and no crack is generated in grains as compared with the aluminum applied with the sufficient annealing (symbols H21, H22). The pulverization or dropping of the negative electrode can be thereby prevented. |
