PURPOSE:To perform a test before a system test by writing a test message in a memory from an input/output interface and reporting it to a processing part by a test mode flag to perform the processing following the reception completion. CONSTITUTION:A processor IOP 4a for exclusive communication reads out a test mode flag 12 in a memory 1 to discriminate whether the test mode is indicated or not. When it is detected that a test start flag 13 is set, the message stored in a reception message area 14 for test is stored in a reception buffer 10. The reception message from a host in the buffer 10 is analyzed and the command processing is performed, and the transmission message to the host is stored in a transmission buffer 11. Thereafter, contents of the buffer 11 are read out and are used for check of test results. Thus, the test is performed before the system test including the online test to not only shorten the test time but also improve the efficiency. |
